Our Cattle
Our herd is made up of several breeds, mostly Angus and Devon, with just a smattering of Longhorn mixed in. We select for genetics that do best in our specific context, focusing on maternal traits, good temperament, and easy fleshing on an all grass diet in the humid south. We never use any growth hormones and do our best to avoid antibiotics expect for in the most extreme of circumstances. Are goal is to have a productive low-input and low-maintenance cow herd that's easy to keep happy, healthy, and thriving!
The Process

Our goal is to streamline to process of getting meat directly from your local farm as much as possible while still giving you the advantages of , and then we will work with a local USDA inspected processor for all the butchering. After aging and packaging, we'll pick it up and give you a call to arrange delivery or pickup from our location in West Mobile!
